First of all, Freedom University makes no claim on you to becoming financially wealthy or independent overnight.  Your own effort and an eagerness to learn will be major factors on how successful you will be in the online business.  The beauty of the internet is that there is relatively low initial capital investment to get started when compared to the brick and mortar shop.  The tradeoff for the low initial investment is your time in putting your effort to be successful online.  There is a good amount of information that you need to in starting an online business.  Anybody can develop a website but how to get visitors to come to your website and then become buyers is another story.  This is where you need to do your homework and your creativity to make your business a success.  The intent of the webpage here is to summarize what I have gone through in terms of researching sources of information to build an online business. 

Secondly, the website will continue to evolve as Professor Santiago continues to learn and earn about the online business he is currently pursuing.    Hopefully, your due diligence and excitement will discover new useful educational material to make your new or existing business a success.  The material here is based on my investigation to internet marketing starting in the Summer of 2007.

Freedom's University Bookstore will be targeted for those individuals who want eager to work smart and reach financial independence.  The content of this bookstore will be based on Professor's Santiago's (a.k.a.  Dr J.)  research activities on on-line marketing.   His twenty-six years of United States Air Force leadership and academic experience, as well as sharing his knowledge gathered from his relationships with his family, friends, colleagues and fellow entreprenuers will be shared to you.   His school of hard knocks about starting a small business from a systems thinking perspective will also be part of the knowledge base that will be gathered here.    You can read and learn at your own pace.  As I gather a group of interested Professors and entrepreneurs, they will provide you with special topics that be delivered by the web that are interactive and video-based lessons.

You will find on-line marketing resources on how to create your own virtual store in cyberspace, including on how to generate a list of prospective buyers and affiliates and how to generate traffic.

Our vision is to have you not rely on the government's Social Security but to concentrate your efforts on educating yourselves on financial investments and running a small business whether it is online or offline. 

My initial niche will focus on my recent research activities and investigation associated with internet marketing.  There are many, many electronic books (e-books) that are very affordable. 

The information gathered here is based on Professor's Santiago's preliminary research during his Summer 2007 Quarter while on sabbatical from  teaching at Colorado Technical University (CTU).   Professor Santiago invested his own free time and resources to give you the latest, valuable and very affordable information that currently exists in the on-line community that can help you get started.

Actually, it is not hidden but given the vast information in cyberspace, the valuable information out there appears buried in noise.   So from this point of view the education of online marketing  appears to be hidden when you don't know where to look.  Hopefully, this survey will provide you a heading check in what you need to do in order to get started on your own business.  But you need to start and approach it by using a "learn and earn" approach because of the vast information out there.  And at times, the information you will be gathering appears overwhelming and you will never get started.  Most people will quit after one year but you need to be persistent especially if you are pursuing something that you really enjoy and love. So do not get discouraged when encountering occasional roadblocks, keep fighting with focused effort and be determined to reach your goal.

Fortunately, because of the low capital cost, you can try a number of ideas and fail occasionally without incurring a large investment.

NEW PERSPECTIVE AND PARADIGM SHIFT

First of all, you need to do a paradigm shift in viewing each website as a virtual real estate store (or alternatively as a revenue stream). You also need to view each webpage as an interactive and multi-media brochure to market your product or service. 

So in essence each webpage represents a revenue stream.  A virtual store is real estate in cyberspace just as the brick-and-mortar franchise McDonald's has their stores located globally.  The more websites (virtual real estate stores) you have, the more you increase your presence (or branding) you have in cyberspace. 

Also, with that in mind, you need to view your website as a global radio or television station.  Currently, the web started off as text based information and is rapidly evolving to audio and video content.  As they say content is king!

Also, approach your website as building a system, depending on your preferences, you need to consider the degrees of automation:  hands-on, semi-automated, or fully automated.  That is, you can build a system to account for most of the cases but also consider the special cases of customers coming to your site.

I my opinion, you need to listen to what he has to say as he knows what he is talking about when it comes to starting and promoting a business on the Internet.  He revealed all of his unconventional tips, trick and techniques with examples so you can learn most efficient and fastest way to
